WE LOVE REAL TEQUILA!
We love tequila that is really good, too. Luckily, we have both here.
This beautiful blanco tequila from Tequila Mi Casa is made with three ingredients and three ingredients only. The agave comes from a single estate in Michoacán, the Rodriguez family land, where they’ve been growing Blue Weber since around 2000. They were the first to make tequila with 100% Michoacán agave, and they remain one of only a few.
This wonderful elixir was distilled 12 years ago and rested in stainless steel tanks for 10 years at 54.5% ABV, then it was adjusted to 45.5% ABV and spent another 2 years in bottle. In that time it has grown up, mastered the art of relaxation, and probably even earned a PhD in chemistry.

Meet the founders of Maíz Nation - Jonathan and Yira. These amazing folks are visionaries, who are devoted to supporting the communities they work with and the culture they love. Their mission with Maíz Nation is to bring attention to the traditional corn farmers of Oaxaca and throughout Mexico so that those families can continue to live and support themselves as they have for hundreds and thousands of years.

The heart of Maíz Nation!
NATIVE CORN, which was developed in Mesoamerican fields by Indigenous scientists about 6,500 years ago, has been coaxed and shepherded through 350 generations into the Twenty-first Century in harmony with the environment and humanity. Along the way, it fueled the rise of several major civilizations. To this day, the cultivation of Native corn is an act of reverence that links present day farmers directly to their ancestors. Native corn is typically planted in milpas, or garden-parcels resembling small, forest-like ecosystems, where beans, squash and corn co-exist with edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms. In the milpa there are no chemicals used and the soil remains healthy and nitrogen-rich from harvest to harvest. Native corn belongs to the people in the communities where it is cultivated and consumed. Native corn is sacred!
